Like most wine drinkers, I have my “go to” wines for simple meals like pizza – inexpensive, easy-to-drink wines. Recently, I found myself nowhere near my home wine cellar and wanting something new. I wandered the aisles of Upper Falls Liquors in Newton for quite a while searching for an intriguing wine in the $10 range. I finally settled on a 2006 Syrah from Caligiore, an organic Argentine producer that I had not heard of before.
